With all the things going on in the world today, or more importantly the US economy, congress has decided its more important to hit the campaign road before the elections. If it was up to me, which its not, I would not leave until we had something in place temporarily or permanently that could help stimulate the economy. With poverty at an all time high 14.9% and rising, unemployment still very high, recession signs imminent you think I am in the mood to vote someone who has not done what should be done to office? (I leave that as a rhetorical question)

Confirming a new budget director for President Obama may end up being a lot less controversial than actually passing a budget.
